3. Your privacy
We believe a memorial site should be a quiet, respectful place. For this reason:
- No advertising cookies. No third-party cookies from Google, Meta, or advertising networks are ever placed on your device.
- No data sales or sharing. Your browsing data is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party, under any circumstances.
- Contact form. Any information you provide (name or alias, email address, message) is used solely to reply to you and remains strictly private.
- Tributes & candles . Messages are published as submitted. Any tribute that fails to respect the dignity of this space may be removed without notice.
- Privacy-conscious first-party audience measurement. The memorial stores a random local identifier, visited page, referrer, screen size, browser information, visit duration, interactions and an anonymised IP address for up to 30 days. It creates no advertising profile, sells no data and uses no external IP geolocation.
4. Right of removal & Contact
If you are a relative, rights holder, or the author of a tribute and wish to have content removed or modified, please use the contact form. Requests are handled within 24 to 48 hours.
5. Sources & intellectual property
Press articles, archival documents, and photographs of that era are reproduced here strictly within the framework of the right of short quotation, for memorial, educational, and historical purposes. All sources are credited on the Sources page.
